FAQs
It says βsold outβ - are you making more?
Best thing to do would be to register for an update when something is back in stock. (You can do that by popping your email in where it would usually say βbuy nowβ.) But whether or not Iβm making more soon will depend on the piece - some pieces are one-offs, others are staples. So feel free to just drop me a message to check via the contact page, and I can let you know what Iβve got in the kiln queue!
How long does delivery take?
Allow 1 week - but possibly earlierβ¦
I need around 2-3 days processing time and then it will be posted on a 48hr Royal Mail Tracked service.
How do you send your pottery?
I use the Royal Mail Tracked service, and carefully package all of my pieces in honeycomb wrap and corrugated cardboard, and nestle them within compostable packing peanuts. If you order multiple pieces I might have to package them separately to do my best to avoid breakages.
Do you offer wholesale on your pottery?
I do offer wholesale prices to bulk orders. I donβt hold huge amounts of stock, and make in small batches, so please be aware that I will need at least 3+ months to complete larger orders. Pop me an email via the contact page, and we can chat it through.
Do you take handmade pottery commissions? (And how do I go about requesting one?)
I do take commissions - just pop me a message via the contact page. If itβs a version of something Iβve already made, I could already have one in the kiln queue. But just to warn you itβs possible that it could take up to 2 months to get your piece to you, depending on the amount/complexity. But I can give you an estimate on timings quickly - so drop me a line.
Can I pick up my order?
Sure, just select the pick up option when you buy it and then pop me a message via the contact page to let me know when you plan to come by to collect it.
Heads up youβll be picking up from my studio thatβs at the end of my gardenβ¦ so prepare to meet Iggy my dog, and for there to be toddler-nonsense all over my kitchen.
Help - my pottery arrived broken!
AH, so sorry! These things happen, and itβs always such a shame. Donβt worry - just send me a picture (ideally within the packaging it came in in view) and I can claim compensation from Royal Mail. Iβll then either give you a full refund, or if I have a replacement piece in stock - get another one in the post to you ASAP.
Are you open to collaborating with other brands?
Iβm always up for working with brands who have similar vibe to me. Whether youβve got an idea youβd like brought to life in clay, some bespoke pieces for your display or even to borrow some items for a shoot - get in touch via the contact page, and we can take it from there.
Do you do express delivery?
If you need something urgently - just pop me a message and I will do my best to get it to you ASAP. Due to the processing time, I canβt offer next day delivery. But if youβre in a real rush we can discuss putting your item on next day delivery - which will cost an extra Β£8.
Are your handmade pottery pieces dishwasher, microwave safe?
All functional serve/dinnerware pieces (bowls, plates, cups etc) are food safe, and can go in the dishwasher (though hand-washing is always advised to avoid breakages) - but might be best to avoid microwaves and ovens.
Where do you make your pieces?
I have a small studio at the end of my garden in Walthamstow, East London. I throw the majority of my pieces on my pottery wheel - and make all of my own glazes, so theyβre all unique.
