I’m Lulu Jacobs, and I first set foot at the pottery wheel in 2022. Since then, I’ve been building my practice, my home studio, and now my collection ‘Lulu’.

I live in Walthamstow, East London, where I work from my studio at the end of my garden. It’s where I make, glaze, and fire all my pieces in small batches.

‘Lulu’ was born around the same time as my daughter, Rudie—when life shifted from going out to staying in. Having friends over, sharing wine and snacks, and sinking into long evenings of catching up is my favourite thing in the world.

So I started designing pieces for exactly those moments— for sharing.

Before ceramics, I worked in branding and marketing. Useful, though honestly, I just want to make pots. And yet here I am, marketing them too…
